Lamb burgers are a staple in our house and such a yummy alternative to your standard beef burger. This recipe is simple, satisfying, and o so flavorful! ( Especially with our avocado cream sauce addition! ) Here is what you’ll need;

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Lamb

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

Avocado cream sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp sour cream

  • 1/2 avocado, smashed

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Pinch of dried rosemary

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

Stir together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley and mix together with your ground lamb. Next, make the burger patties to your desired size, we suggest 1/4 pound burgers. One package ground lamb yields 4 burger patties. Grill up your burgers on medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side. While the burgers are cooking put together the avocado cream sauce. In a medium bowl, smash up your ripened avocado, add mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. To assemble cut your brioche bun in half and add the avocado cream to both sides of the bun. Add sliced onion, lamb burger patty, tomato, lettuce, and top bun. Serve immediately with a side of rosemary fries and enjoy!
